Dah

01
Morse codes are formed by a sequence
of dots (dits) and dashes (dahs).
The duration of a dit is the basic unit of time measurement in Morse code transmission.
02
The duration of a dah is three times the
duration of a dit.
The duration of a dah is three times the duration of a dit
03
Each symbol within an encoded character is followed by a period of signal absence, called an element space, equal to the dit duration.
For example, the character “A” consists of 2 symbols. The space between the 2 symbols would consist an element space.
04
The letters of a word are separated by a character space of duration equal to three dits.
For example, the word “Cat” consists 3 characters.
Between each character would consist a character space.
